Reddit monitoring that finds what you never named
Track products and communities without registering a single keyword. What you never thought to watch shows up anyway.
Every keyword monitoring tool shares one blind spot, and it is not a matter of features: you can only be told about words you thought to register. A competitor you have never heard of never triggers anything, because you never typed their name.
PulsePeek starts from the other end: products are detected in public conversation, resolved to a real site and category, then ranked against each other. You register nothing. If your need is to be told within minutes when someone names your brand, that is a different job, and we set both approaches side by side against F5Bot and its email alerts and against Syften, which filters keyword matches across eighteen platforms.
What a keyword list cannot tell you
Keyword alerts answer *did my word appear*, which is exactly right when the word is one you own. It is a different question from *what is this market discussing*, and a stream of matches carries no sense of proportion.
- An alert cannot tell you whether ten mentions came from ten people or from one person ten times.
- An alert cannot tell you whether this month is better than last month.
- An alert cannot show a product you never registered.
- A match on a term you registered says nothing about the terms you never thought of.
What you actually track
- Products, kept in folders you organise, with their mentions, authors and communities.
- Communities, set aside with what the radar counts in each.
- Your own brand, once claimed, with the communities that mention it and the products that come up alongside it.
Each of these carries what is new since your last review, so returning after a week does not mean rereading a week of noise. Many teams run both approaches: an alert service for the handful of terms they own, and a ranking for the market they are still mapping.
Reading the numbers honestly
Every count is author aware. A product mentioned thirty times by three people reads differently from one mentioned thirty times by twenty eight, and the interface keeps that distinction visible rather than collapsing it into a single score.
Mentions by name count alongside mentions by link, so a product people recommend without pasting a URL is not invisible. That is also what makes it possible to watch a rival you never registered as a keyword: nothing has to be named in advance for it to be counted.
For assistants, not just for browsers
PulsePeek exposes an MCP server, so an AI assistant can search products, see which communities mention them, and read mention and author volumes on your behalf. If your review happens in a conversation rather than in a dashboard, that path exists.
Track the products and communities that matter to you.
Start trackingWhat this does not do
- No replies, no outreach and no lead queue. Nothing is ever posted on your behalf, and no account of yours is connected.
- No coverage of private communities or direct messages. Only conversation that was public is ever read.
- No revenue, traffic or funding figures. We count what people say, not what companies earn.
